Dr. Richard C. Edlow

Education

Dr. Richard Edlow is one of the founding partners at Catonsville Eye Group and has been in practice since 1980. Graduating from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics in 1976, he went on to the Pennsylvania College of Optometry where he earned a degree in Visual Sciences in 1977 and Doctor of Optometry in 1980.

Awards and Certifications

Dr. Edlow is the Chairman of the Data & Information Committee for the American Optometric Association. He served as President of the Maryland Optometric Association from 1989-1991and was voted Optometrist of the Year in 1992. The Governor's Committee on the Handicapped voted him Health Care Professional of the Year for the State of Maryland in 1989.

In the early 80's, Dr. Edlow was a pioneer in the integration of the 3 O's, Optometry, Opticianry and Ophthalmology. As a frequent author and lecturer, he is well recognized for his expertise in Eye Care Management Systems, Managed Care, and Practice Development.

Personal Bio

Having lived in Baltimore all his life, Dr. Edlow now resides with his wife of more than 25 years. In his free time, he enjoys bike riding, flying and spending time with his two daughters.

Dr. David J. Feldmann

Education

Dr. David J. Feldmann has been a partner at Catonsville Eye Group since 1990. He is a 1970 graduate of Baltimore Polytechnical Institute and received his undergraduate degree at the University of Maryland in Psychology. He attended Pennsylvania College of Optometry earning a Bachelor's Degree in Visual Science in 1974 and Doctor of Optometry in 1978.

Dr. Feldmann is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Greater Baltimore Optometry Association. He specializes in primary care optometry and pre and post-operative management of cataracts and contact lens fittings.

Personal Bio

Born and raised in Baltimore , David is a devoted husband and father. He prides himself on taking a caring approach in all patient care as well as maintaining a high standard of excellence. An avid sports fan, David also enjoys jogging and travel.

Dr. Louis I. Gordon

Dr. Louis Gordon is one of the founding partners at Catonsville Eye Group and has been in practice since 1972. He received his undergraduate degree from University of Maryland in Sociology. Dr. Gordon attended Pennsylvania College of Optometry earning a Bachelor's Degree in Visual Science and Doctor of Optometry in 1972.

Personal Bio

A native of Baltimore, Louis resides with his wife. He has two daughters who live in New York. He enjoys fishing, golfing, tennis and traveling.

Dr. Martin S. Novey

Education

Dr. Novey has been an associate at Catonsville Eye Group since 1998. He received his undergraduate degree at Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Natural Science. He attended Pennsylvania College of Optometry where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Visual Science and Doctor of Optometry in 1994.

Personal Bio

Born in Clearfield, a small town in Pennsylvania, Martin learned dedication and a high standard of excellence while working in his family business. He enjoys camping, motorcycling and traveling.
